Please join us for our first LI-DOG Pack Walk™ of the 2025 season on the Woodland Trail in Dix Hills Park! LI-DOG Pack Walks™–group on-leash walks–are a great way to enjoy Long Island’s beautiful parks with your dog, while meeting new friends and their pups. The trail, which is covered by trees and is a bit hilly, is one of the nicest dog-friendly trails on Long Island. LI-DOG Pack Walk™ at Hempstead Lake State Park

LI-DOG is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our final LI-DOG Pack Walk™ of the 2024 season at beautiful Hempstead Lake State Park, a 737-acre state park located in West Hempstead, NY. The park contains the largest freshwater lake in Nassau County. On our Pack Walk™ on the 23rd, we’ll be walking the North Loop Trail within the park. The walk will cover about 2 miles and take about an hour, but there will be an opportunity to make the walk shorter. For details, go to LI-DOG Pack Walk at Hempstead Lake State Park!
LI-DOG Pack Walk™ at Fire Island National Seashore!

Please join us for our LI-DOG Pack Walk™ along the beautiful Fire Island National Seashore!
We’ll meet at the far eastern end of Parking Field 5 at Robert Moses State Park and then walk over to Fire Island National Seashore from there. You’ll have the option to do a shorter 1.5 mile walk or a longer 2.5 mile walk. Either way, you’ll be walking along the ocean with your dog enjoying wide open views of sea, sand and sky! Doggie Dip at Splish Splash

Join Splish Splash for their 2024 Doggie Dip! Come enjoy a day with your dog at their wave pool on September 9th from 10am-12pm. The cost to attend the event is $15 per handler and $10 per dog. Long Island Pet Expo in the Park

Leashed dogs are welcome at the Long Island Pet Expo in the Park, designed to entertain both you and your dog. There’ll be demonstrations by Maximum K9 Service in the dog ring, agility run-throughs with Doggie U K9 Academy, a Lure Course, a Pet Fashion Show and Contest, and the Long Island Dog Derby for dogs 25 pounds and under.
