Celebrate Halloween With Your Dog!

Do you and your furry friend love a great Howl-o-ween party? Does your pup want to take part in a Howl-o-ween Costume Parade and perhaps win a great prize? Then come to Nassau Barkfest, Long Island’s largest free pet costume contest and parade at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre at Eisenhower Park!

Dress up your best furry friend in their Howl-o-ween finest–be it pretty, silly, scary or downright ghostly. Nassau Barkfest is guaranteed to offer both of you a good time!

Admission is FREE, but all participants are asked to bring a donation of pet food for families who are facing difficult financial times and need help feeding their pets. Nassau Barkfest is sponsored by the Nassau County SPCA and Long Island’s K98.3 radio station.

All pets must be on a leash.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Even our canine friends love a good Halloween party, and Nassau Barkfest is guaranteed to be spook-tacular fun for both dogs and people! Dress up your furry friend in his or her Halloween finest — pretty, silly, scary or downright ghostly — and join the parade. Costume judging will begin at 2:30 pm and prizes will be awarded.  LI-DOG, rescue groups and other animal-friendly organizations will be there to help celebrate. All pets must be on a leash.

Think your dog is the cutest (or spookiest!) pup around during Halloween time? Does your fur baby rock a costume every October? Do you want bragging rights for Fido this fall? Then Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn invites you and your dog to come to Suffolk Barkfest 2016,  Suffolk County’s largest pet costume contest and parade!

For this Halloween-spirited celebration, guests are to bring their dogs (or other pets) dressed in costumes for a chance to win some fabulous prizes. Costume judging and awarding of prizes will begin at 2:00 pm.
