Join us for the LI-DOG Pack Walk™ at Belmont Lake State Park!

LI-DOG is pleased to announce it will be hosting its first Pack Walk™ of 2017 on Sunday March 26 – 12 Noon at Belmont Lake State Park, Exit 38N off the Southern State Pkwy. (Please note: This is a new date due to a weather-related rescheduling change.) This is not only a great way for your dog to socialize and get exercise, but for you as well! So please join us at this beautiful NY State Park.

This LI-DOG Pack Walk™ at Belmont Lake State Park will take approximately an hour as we leisurely walk the wooded trails and around the lake. The trails are flat and should be an easy walk for most people and dogs. The full walk will cover a little over two miles. A shorter opt-out path will cut the walk to about a mile. Feel free to hang out after the walk and make a day of it as Belmont Lake State Park has a lot to offer.

BASIC RULES:

• Dogs must remain on-leash at all times – No Exceptions!
• Dogs are not allowed in the picnic & play areas nor in any buildings.
• Bring water & poop bags to pick up after your companion!
• Keep your RSVP up-to-date. Space is limited to 130 people. All RSPV’s must be done on the LI-DOG Meetup Group.

PHOTO’S – There are many great photo-ops, so bring your camera and share your photos here on Meetup!
PARKING – The NYS parking fee of  $8 is waived during the month of March.
