LI-DOG Pack Walk™ at Alley Pond Park!

Sat., March 24th, 10:30AM
Alley Pond Park
Oakland Gardens, Queens (Google Map)

Meet us at the Aarya Park parking lot on 76th Ave. near the corner of Springfield Blvd to start the walk!

Please join LI-DOG for our first Pack Walk™ of the 2018 season at big, beautiful Alley Pond Park, just over the Nassau border in Queens. Our first-ever LI-DOG Pack Walk™ at Alley Pond Park last November was so successful, we’re going back for our March 2018 Pack Walk! The park covers 655 acres and features miles of well-marked trails, fresh water ponds, meadows and woodlands.

Our March 2018 LI-DOG Pack Walk™ —a guided group on-leash dog walk–will follow the White Trail. This 2.2-mile trail offers a varied walking experience with different types of terrain and gentle slopes. The trail goes around the periphery of Upper Alley Pond and passes Little Alley Pond and the Pine Forest. Part of the trail is asphalt with the rest mostly wide dirt.

If you’ve never been to Alley Pond Park, this is a great chance to get a good introduction to the park guided by LI-DOG Pack Leaders who know the park. If you already know Alley Pond Park, this is a great opportunity to enjoy the park with other dog lovers and their pups!

Also, feel free to linger after the Pack Walk as there are plenty of nice places in the park to hang out with your dog and other people from the walk.
