Thurs., April 21st, 7-9 pm
Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library, 999 Old Country Rd., Plainview (Google Map)

Join LI-DOG for our April Meeting to find out about our plans to make Long Island parks more dog-friendly!

Spring means getting outside and enjoying the outdoors with your faithful furry friend, but as you know, your options are severely limited here on Long Island. Tired of seeing those “No Dogs Allowed” signs? Find out how you can change that and hear about our recent successes, including more on-leash access to Nassau County parks!  We’re making progress but we still need YOUR help to work on new initiatives and volunteer for our dog-friendly events, all with the mission of making Long Island a more dog friendly place!

At LI-DOG, our mission is to continue to expand dog owner access to public parkland.  In addition to helping to create dog parks, LI-DOG also strives for more ON-LEASH access to public trails and parks as well as off-leash access to Long Island’s many miles of public beaches.

Please join us on April 21st and find out how you can help to make it happen!
