Have fun and explore ideas for improving your bond with your dog! Take advantage of fun activities with your dog like agility and treat tasting, while checking out various mini 15-minute seminars. Seminar topics include pet nutrition and diet, pet first aid, know your breed, diabetes, natural remedies, obedience, agility, adoption, exercising mind and body, planning for emergencies, pet safety, home grooming, special needs care and rescue, and more!

Plus, you’ll have the chance to win great raffle prizes and participate in creative costume contests!  Raffle and donation proceeds benefit L.I. Chihuahua Rescue. Admission to Pet Wellness Day is FREE!

Treat your pup to a day of pampering at the Islip Animal Shelter’s 6th Annual Dog Wash! Start the day with a doggy shampoo, rinse, and towel dry. Complete the spa treatment with a nail trim courtesy of Precious Paws Mobile Grooming of Suffolk Couty.

Then join the party! Visit the food trucks, enjoy the DJ music, and take a chance at the raffles. Shop the amazing local vendors, enjoy some photo fun at the free photo booth, and meet some of the wonderful pets available for adoption.

The Islip Animal Shelter’s 6th Annual Dog Wash is sponsored by Live, Love. Bark Dog Rescue.

$10 donation for dog wash; $5 donation for nail trim.
