You and your dog are invited to join The Refuge for their final Barkin’ Brunch of the 2022 season and their Howl ‘o’ Ween Party and Costume Contest on Sun., Oct. 30th! [Please note this is a schedule change.]

Besides a delicious brunch menu with fun cocktails for you, there’s always a special “Pawty Menu” for your pup! The event takes place on The Refuge’s big outdoor patio.

Make sure to dress up your dog in their Halloween best so they can strut their stuff in the doggy Halloween costume contest and parade starting at 12:30 p.m. Prizes will be given out for Best Dog Costume, Best Owner & Dog Coordinated Costume and Best Group.

As always, The Refuge strongly recommends making a reservation for a table beforehand. Call The Refuge at 631-577-4444.

Celebrate Halloween with your dog! Dress up your pups in their Halloween finest for Long Island’s largest free pet costume contest and parade at Eisenhower Park on Sun., Oct. 30th. Prizes will be awarded in several categories. All participants are asked to please bring a donation of pet food for families facing difficult financial times. How does a great Howl-o-ween party for you and your pup sound? Does your pup want to strut their stuff in a Howl-o-ween Costume Parade, perhaps winning a great prize? Then Nassau Barkfest 2019 is guaranteed to offer both of you a howling good time!

Dress your pup in his or her Howl-o-ween finest, be it pretty, silly, scary or downright ghostly – and join us. The parade and costume judging will begin at 2:30pm.

All pets must be on leash and, as always, picked up after.

LI-Dog, rescue groups and other animal-friendly organizations will be there to help celebrate!

Barkfest is sponsored by the Nassau County SPCA and Long Island’s K98.3 radio station. Admission is FREE, but all participants are asked to bring a donation of pet food for families who are facing difficult financial times and need help feeding their pets.
