New Members Welcome! Please join LI-DOG on Tues., Sept. 19th at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library to help us plan our Fall 2023 dog-friendly events. Coming up soon are Barkin’ Brunch at The Refuge with LI-DOG, the Fall Dog Festival at Old Westbury Gardens, and our big LI-DOG Howl-o-Ween Pawty and fundraiser at The Pine Grove Inn in November! Come share your ideas, help plan games and brainstorm fundraising ideas. Whether you want to be part of the planning or learn how you can enjoy a fun day with lots of dogs, this meeting is the place to start! LI-DOG Fall 2023 Events Meeting!

Tuesday, Sept. 19th, 7 PM to 9 PM

Great opportunity to be part of LI-DOG’s fun events! New members welcome! 

How to find us: We will be meeting in Room B, which is downstairs.

Please Note:  While our events are dog-friendly, only service dogs are allowed in the library for the meeting.

Please join LI-DOG on Tue, Sept. 19th at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library to help us plan our Fall 2023 dog-friendly events!

Coming up are:

  • Barkin’ Brunch at The Refuge with LI-DOG on Sun., Oct. 8th – a delicious brunch with dogs while fundraising for LI-DOG.
  • Fall Dog Festival at Old Westbury Gardens on Sun., Oct. 29th – LI-DOG joins purveyors of doggie goodies and gear for a fall festival and costume parade on the beautiful grounds of Old Westbury Gardens.
  • LI-DOG Howl-O-Ween Pawty at the Pine Grove Inn on Sun., Nov. 5th – LI-DOG hosts what promises to be our biggest and most fun fundraiser of the year with games, prizes, costume contests, raffles and more!

Our meeting on Sept. 19th will focus mainly on our Howl-O-Ween Pawty.

Come share your thoughts and ideas. Help plan games, activities and brainstorm fundraising ideas! 

On the day of our events, opportunities to help include:

  • Greeting guests and their dogs
  • Selling raffle tickets for our gift baskets
  • Helping to run doggie games and judge our contests

There are tons of opportunities where you can really make a difference!

Whether you want to be part of the planning or learn how you can enjoy a fun day with lots of dogs, this meeting is the place to start!
