How to find us: 
We’ll be out on the patio! Come thru the gate, to the right of the front entrance.

How does Sunday Brunch sound? Even better, how does Sunday Brunch with your pup sound? If it sounds great, then join us for Barkin’ Brunch at The Refuge with LI-DOG on Sunday, Oct. 8th!

Besides great food, there’ll be drink specials, dog treats, raffles, and more! Don’t forget to ask for the special Doggie Menu! Visit The Refuge Menu to review their Brunch and Brunch Cocktail menus.

In order to be seated at a table, you must have a reservation. The Refuge strongly recommends making your reservation ahead of time by calling 631-577-4444, but you may still make one when you arrive on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Once you and your pup are out on the patio, please stop by the LI-DOG table to sign in and check out all the great raffle baskets we’ve put together!

This is an important fundraising event for LI-DOG. Please do take a chance on winning one of the GREAT raffle baskets generously donated by our sponsors— Bagel Boss, Brutus Bone Broth, My Human “N” Me, Palomino’s Restaurant,  Personalize Your Pet, Stew Leonard’s East Meadow, AND Tito’s Vodka. PET PARENT ESSENTIALS FOR THE BRUNCH: Make sure to walk your dog outside the venue before entering, bring poop bags, and watch your dog closely. Please note that while well-socialized and fully vaccinated dogs are allowed on the grounds of our venue, ONLY service dogs are permitted to enter the indoor bar/restaurant area.

Howl ‘O’ Ween Barkin’ Brunch at The Refuge

You and your leashed dogs are invited to the final Barkin’ Brunch of the season at The Refuge when the restaurant will host a Halloween Party and Parade. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dog Costume, Best Dog & Owner Pair, and Best Group Costume.

At 12:15, representatives from Tito’s Vodka will be on hand to give out checks to all the animal-centric nonprofits who participated in the Tito’s x Refuge donation program for Long Island nonprofits. LI-DOG will be there!

In addition to the restaurant’s usual delicious brunch menu, special fall-themed cocktails will be available for purchase. There’s even a ‘ Pawty Menu ‘ for the pooches.

You and your dog are invited to join The Refuge for their final Barkin’ Brunch of the 2022 season and their Howl ‘o’ Ween Party and Costume Contest on Sun., Oct. 30th! [Please note this is a schedule change.]

Besides a delicious brunch menu with fun cocktails for you, there’s always a special “Pawty Menu” for your pup! The event takes place on The Refuge’s big outdoor patio.

Make sure to dress up your dog in their Halloween best so they can strut their stuff in the doggy Halloween costume contest and parade starting at 12:30 p.m. Prizes will be given out for Best Dog Costume, Best Owner & Dog Coordinated Costume and Best Group.

How does Sunday Brunch on an outdoor patio with your leashed pup sound? If it sounds good, check out Barkin’ Brunch at The Refuge!

Your leashed pup is welcome to enjoy brunch with you at Barkin’ Brunch, which is held at The Refuge in Melville on their outdoor patio on Sundays 11am – 3 pm, May through October, weather permitting. The outdoor area is covered and provides plenty of shade. Besides a great menu for you, there is a special “Pawty Menu” with delicious selections for your pup to enjoy!

Special event brunches run throughout the season. Each features a local rescue/shelter or other dog-related charity group, including LI-DOG, who will be on the premise that day. The charity will benefit from the sale of Chinese auction raffle baskets & other merchandise, plus they will receive a generous donation from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the “Vodka for Dog People”!

Come enjoy brunch, sip a cocktail, buy a raffle, meet adoptable dogs and fellow dog owners and lend your support for these local rescue group and dog-related charities.
