New members encouraged! Come join us on Thurs., June 23rd for our LI-DOG 2022 Events Meeting. Hear about all the exciting dog-friendly events we are planning and how you can help! There are tons of opportunities where you can really make a difference. Whether you want to be part of the planning or learn how you can enjoy a fun day with lots of dogs, while helping LI-DOG, this meeting is the place to start! LI-DOG 2022 Events Meeting!

New members encouraged! Learn about ways you can help LI-DOG!

Come join us on Thursday, June 23rd at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library to hear about the exciting events LI-DOG is planning this year and how you can help! 

This year we’re hosting and participating in several, fun dog-friendly events! (Your dog, of course, is welcome to join you.) Among them:

  • LI-DOG’s Doggie Beach Pawty at Mud Creek Off-Leash Beach in E. Patchogue on Sat., July 16th
  • The Port Paws Dog Festival in Port Jefferson on Sat. and Sun., July 23rd and July 24th (portpawsdogfest.com)
  • Barkin’ Brunch at The Refuge on Sun., October 2nd
  • LI-DOG’s Howl-o-Ween Pawty at Off Key Tikki on Sun., Nov. 6th

On event days opportunities to help include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting participants and their dogs!
  • Setting up the LI-DOG booth and venue
  • Selling raffle tickets for our gift baskets
  • Helping to run doggie games and judge our contests

There are tons of opportunities where you can really make a difference!

Whether you want to be part of the planning or learn how you can enjoy a fun day with lots of dogs, while helping LI-DOG, this meeting is the place to start.

All our events are dog-friendly, but unfortunately, only service dogs are allowed in the Library for the meeting.
