Formerly known as Bar Beach and Hempstead Harbor Park, this large 60-acre park welcomes leashed dogs on the newly designated Nature Trail and other trails within the park. Please be aware that dogs are not allowed on the Promenade on summer weekends nor are they allowed on the beach or in the water. Please note: We’ve gotten reports of lots of ticks in this park this spring. Use preventatives and watch your dog closely if you go here.
