Calling all ghouls, goblins, good boys and good girls! Join LI-DOG on Sunday, November 2nd for a frightfully fun afternoon at the lovely Pine Grove Inn in East Patchogue for our Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest & Pawty! It will be a paws-itively delightful celebration for dogs and their favorite humans.
Highlights include:
- 🐶 A Big Costume Contest: Strut your stuff in our runway showdown! The costume contest starts at 1 PM. Please sign up for the contest by 12:45. Don’t forget to set your clocks back 1 hour on Saturday night as Daylight Savings ends at 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

- Best Standalone Pet
- Best Dog & Human Team
Whether your pup is a werewolf, taco, fairy, or hot dog, we can’t wait to see your creativity blossom. Remember there are two categories in our parade – Best Standalone Pet, where your pup can shine and Best Dog and Human Team, where you can let your imagination soar–a pup pilot and his flight crew? Cruella DeVille and her Dalmatians? Old McDonald and his farm animals?
🎁 Prizes, giveaways, and tail-wagging fun guaranteed!
More than $250 in prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners in each category of our costume contest!

- VEG – Commack will be on hand with giveaways, tips for a safe holiday season with your pup, and information about their new, life-saving canine blood bank.
- Hey Bud Garden Services will have dog-safe non-toxic living plants and container gardens to add beauty and fun to your home.
- M. Mae Dog Boutique will be offering items for your pup that all the dogs are barking about.
- Long Island Pet Services will be on hand to talk about their dog walking, cat sitting, pet waste cleanup, and pet taxi services.

Please be aware that if you purchase advance tickets, you’ll receive confirmation from PayPal that your payment has been received. You will not receive an actual ticket. We will have a list of all prepaid ticket holders at our Welcome table when you check in. Just give them your name and you’re in!

Become a Sponsor! Participating in our Howl-O-Ween Pawty is a great way for your company to let thousands of Long Island dog owners know about your terrific products and services. LI-DOG is looking for sponsors who can contribute prizes, raffle baskets, giveaways and other items. If interested, email us ASAP at events@lidog.org. Please be aware that dogs must remain leashed on non-retractable leads at all times. As always, please walk your dog before entering the venue. Dogs are not permitted inside the restaurant.
