Heckscher Park, Huntington Village
(Google Map)
The Town of Huntington and Give a Dog a Dream bring you and your dog a fun-filled day at their Walk & Wag event in lovely Heckscher Park in Huntington! You’ll have more than just a great time—you’ll also be supporting the dogs at the Huntington Animal Shelter.
There’ll be vendors of doggie goodies and gear, animal advocacy organizations like LI-DOG, food trucks and more!
The Huntington Animal Shelter & Adoption Center staff is dedicated to helping the homeless pets of Huntington. They are proud of the fact that over 94% of the animals that come to them are saved because of the implementation of adoption and training programs.
Sign up to walk your dog and support Give a Dog A Dream. Suggested donation/entry fee is $20. To register your dog, go to the Give a Dog a Dream website.
