Canine Camp Getaway is a one-of-a-kind vacation geared to dog lovers and their dogs!
So many of us enjoy travel with our dogs yet want to enjoy the amenities of a typical vacation. Welcome to Canine Camp Getaway–dog-friendly vacation spots in lovely settings with lots of indoor and outdoor fun activities for dogs and their pet-parents alike.
Take your pick of two special settings – scenic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania or the beautiful, more rustic Catskill Mountains of New York.
As with any great vacation, stay as busy as you like with dog-centered sports like agility, barn hunt, lure coursing, disc dog and flyball or relax and refresh with an easy hike or lounge by the dog-friendly pool or private, man-made lake. There are also fun games, crafts, and educational seminars like Canine CPR and Canine Good Citizen training.
Both facilities are totally dog-friendly for any age, size, and ability, as long as your dog enjoys the company of other pets. There’s Yappy Hour in the evening and you can dine with your dog in the restaurant at night. The venues, while different, are people-friendly too; Gettysburg has a few more amenities, while East Durham emphasizes a more unplugged feel.
Rates range from $1,200 (meals and activities only) to $1,850 per person in Gettysburg and $850 (meals and activities only) to $1,450 per person in East Durham. All full rates include meals, accommodations, and all dog activities.
This is one retreat that’s a real treat—for both you AND your dog. So give your dog the gift of a lifetime and sign up today!
