The 4th Annual 5K and Paws Walk is an outstanding event helping to support the work of Long Island Cares and its Pet Pantry.
Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Regional Food Bank–has been on a mission to feed Long Islanders facing food insecurity and address its root causes since their founding by the late Harry Chapin in 1980.
This event is taking place at beautiful Belmont Lake State Park. You can join the celebration with your dog the way you like it the most.
Do the 5K run or if you prefer, take a leisurely walk along the course. The route is scenic and pet friendly. If you just want to hang out, you are still welcome! Take pictures and videos in this pristine environment to create lasting memories.
Registration is $40 per participant. Please note you can register at any time, however, T-shirts are first-come first-serve.
During the sign-in, you can grab a light breakfast and be ready for walking and wagging at 9 a.m.
Enjoy great music, vendors and raffles. Plus, you can win some great prizes!
Bring a non-perishable pet food item for a chance to win a basket of pet goodies.
Bring a non-perishable human food item for a chance to win a prize for pet parents.
