Leash up your pup and join “Paws for a Cause” – a walk to bring awareness to domestic violence and animal abuse. This fun, family event has activities for both people and pups – food, crafts, pet vendors, children’s activities and music and entertainment. Participate in the pet parade, top dog contest and doggy games. Visit the “Smooch-A-Pooch Booth” and be a part of the Blessing of the Pets.
Admission is $15 (pre-registration) for 1 pet and up to 5 accompanying humans. $20 (at the door), $10 each additional pet; $5 each additional human. This event benefits L.I. Against Domestic Violence. To pre-register for this event visit the L.I. Against Domestic Violence Website.
Pints for Pets – Fundraiser for Save A Pet

Get your crew and head over to the Pints for Pets -Fundraiser for Save A Pet! Join us at Port Jeff Brewing Company to support orphaned pets that have been rescued by Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue. Participate in the Chinese auction with awesome prizes from local merchants as well as a 50/50 raffle! Enjoy live music by Swell Sound: original jam-based music that you can dance to. Expect beer, fundraising, and animal advocacy! All ages and pets are welcome to this event. Not to mention FREE admission! No reservation needed.
