3rd Annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Dog Walk

Sat., Sept. 17th, 11 am to 4 pm

Farmingdale Village Green, 361 Main St., Farmingdale, NY (Google Map)

It’s the perfect time of the year for a dog walk fundraiser, especially when it’s for a deserving cause! Organized by the Empire State Snow Dog Club, Light the Night A Dog Walk to Remember is open to ALL BREEDS, and there is NO FEE to participate. All the organizers ask is that you raise some money by getting family, friends and co-workers to sponsor you in your walk. The walk will take you and your canine companion(s) from the Farmingdale Village Green to the end of Main Street and back to the Green — a total of 1.2 miles. Breakfast and lunch will be served to all participants, plus water will be available at the walk’s halfway point for humans and dogs. In addition, the Empire State Snow Dog Club will be raffling off a selection of great prizes. Please arrive at 11 am to sign in; the walk will begin at noon.

All money raised at the event will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Please make checks payable directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. If you are unable to attend but wish to donate, please mail your checks to C/O Jodi Ekberg, 38 Cranford Road, Plainview, New York 11803.
