COSTUMES, DOG PIE-EATING CONTESTS AND RAFFLES!
The Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals would like to invite dogs and their owners to the Trunk or Treat for Dogs fundraiser on October 22nd at Sands Point Preserve. Pet friendly businesses will decorate the trunk of a car to create “trick or treat” stations that will provide giveaways for dogs and their owners. They’ll be treats, dog toys, poops bags, and more. There will also be costume contests, pup activities, and raffles, as well as pet-related vendors.
On top of that, there will be dog pie-eating contests at Noon, 1 pm, and 2 pm!
The event costs $25 (a $15 Preserve parking fee and a $10 event fee) and is cash only. Proceeds benefit the Nassau County SPCA whose mission is to protect animals in the county from abuse and neglect, and provide basic welfare for animals.
All dogs must be leashed during the event.
