Thanks to everyone who helped make LI-DOG’s Yappy Hour @Mary Carroll’s on August 6th such a great event! There were so many wonderful dogs and so many nice, fun dog owners to talk to, that the two hours just flew by!
We were especially happy to share the evening with the volunteers and great dogs from Little Shelter—the oldest animal rescue organization on Long Island. If you know of someone who needs a dog in their life—maybe even you!--please remember Little Shelter’s adoptees. For more information, visit www.littleshelter.com.
LI-DOG’s Dog Days of Summer August Yappy Hour was the third Yappy Hour of the 2009 summer season and was the biggest one yet. Seventy-five people joined us for the fun! [To read a great article in The Long Islander about Yappy Hours and LI-DOG, click here.] Yappy Hours are held on the first Thursday of the month throughout the summer and fall. That means the next Yappy Hour @Mary Carroll’s is scheduled for Thurs., Sept. 3rd. Mark your calendars now!
LI-DOG would like to thank the following people and their businesses for helping make our August Yappy Hour so successful:
